Privacy policy

Last updated · 2026-05-17

At TheTreeWay we treat personal data with the same discipline we apply to architecture: only what is necessary, with a clear purpose, and under our responsibility. This policy explains what information we collect through thetreeway.com, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.

Data controller

TheTreeWay, a digital architecture and applied-AI firm operating between Caracas (Venezuela) and New York (United States). For any privacy matter, write to us at hola@thetreeway.com.

What data we collect

We only collect data you deliberately provide:

  • Contact form: name, email address, organization, role, the stage you are at, and the message you choose to send us.
  • Communications: if you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up.

We do not request or store special categories of data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your request, assess whether TheTreeWay is the right firm for your organization, and continue the conversation you started. We do not send unsolicited marketing, and we do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

The lawful basis for this processing is your consent when you submit the form and our legitimate interest in handling professional enquiries.

Processors and third-party services

To run the site we rely on providers that act as processors, limited to the purpose described above:

  • Resend: delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox. Form content is transmitted by email; it is not stored in a site database.
  • Cal.com: scheduling of the diagnostic conversation. The calendar loads only when you click "Schedule"; from that point it is governed by Cal.com's privacy policy and may set third-party cookies.
  • Plausible Analytics: aggregate, cookieless usage measurement. It collects no personal data, does not track across sites, and cannot identify individual visitors.

Fonts are served from our own infrastructure: browsing the site makes no third-party requests to load fonts.

How long we keep data

We keep your message for as long as needed to handle the request and, where applicable, for the duration of the professional relationship arising from it. Once no longer necessary, we delete it.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of the processing of your data at any time, and withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, simply write to hola@thetreeway.com; we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access. No method of internet transmission is entirely infallible, but we handle your data with the diligence you would expect from a firm that designs systems for others.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or applicable regulations. The current version will always be published on this page, with its update date.
